Epoxy Resin 3-day

Description:

Learn all about the different types of resin and make many epoxy resin projects to keep in this multi-day workshop! All supplies included*

It is highly recommended to schedule your three day’s back to back, instead of across many weeks. (example: Fri, Sat, Sun instead of every Fri for 3 weeks)

In this three day workshop participants will make many projects to keep. During days 1 and 2 the instructor will spend the first 45 minutes teaching the group together, demonstrating specific techniques. Then participants will be able to make a second piece of their choosing, with help as needed.

Day 1 – Learn resin basics, complete the first layer of a multi-layer dried flower/fruit tray together and then let the creative juices flow to make your custom piece. After the initial lesson the instructor will rotate through students for assistance and guidance. Students are encouraged to ask questions and experiment.

Day 2 – Learn how to use Bezels as we walk through a Bezel project together and then we will finish the layered tray we began last time. Then let the creative juices flow to make another custom resin piece of your choosing. The instructor will rotate through students for assistance and guidance. Students are encouraged to ask questions and experiment.

Day 3 – Learn about demolding, deburring/sanding, top coating, accenting, multi-media assembly, silicone mold care, watch a silicone mold making demonstration and there will be time for sharing the pieces everyone made and final Q&A’s.
